Rules and Regulations for Students:
• Mobile phones are not permitted during classes and academic activities.
• Students must maintain discipline, decorum, and respectful behavior on campus.
• Consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, or any intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited.
• Students shall keep classrooms and campus premises clean and use designated dustbins.
• Damage to college property will attract disciplinary action and compensation charges.
• Wearing a valid College Identity Card is mandatory at all times within the campus.
• Students must adhere to the prescribed dress code and laboratory uniform requirements.
• Punctuality and regular attendance in classes, practicals, examinations, and academic activities are compulsory.
• Students should regularly check official notices and announcements.
• Unauthorized meetings, celebrations, or gatherings within the campus are not permitted.
• Visitors may enter the campus only with prior approval from the college authorities.
• Students are expected to maintain professional conduct and follow all institutional policies.
• Any act of indiscipline or misconduct may result in disciplinary action and notification to parents/guardians.
Rules and Regulations for Hostellers:
• Hostel residents shall follow all hostel rules and instructions issued by the Warden.
• Students may approach the Warden for guidance, support, and grievance redressal.
• Personal and contact details must be updated whenever changes occur.
• Hostel rooms allotted to students shall not be changed without permission.
• Students must maintain cleanliness and hygiene in rooms and common areas.
• Electricity and water should be used responsibly, and appliances switched off when not in use.
• Damage to hostel property will be recovered from the concerned student(s).
• Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable as per institutional and legal regulations.
• Consumption of alcohol, smoking, and use of prohibited substances are strictly forbidden
.• Entry of unauthorized visitors into hostel premises is not allowed.
• Students leaving the hostel during weekends or holidays must obtain prior permission from the Warden.
• Hostel residents must return within the prescribed time limits and comply with hostel discipline.
Student Attendance and Leave:
:• As per Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS) regulations, a minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory to appear in University Examinations.
• Attendance in classes, practical sessions, tests, assignments, and examinations is compulsory
.• Leave applications should be submitted in advance to the concerned authority.
• Parents/guardians should inform the Class Advisor in case of illness or unavoidable absence.
• Students must submit a valid medical certificate for absences due to illness.
• Continuous absenteeism without valid reasons may lead to disciplinary action.
